Low viscosity coating
Low viscosity coating involves very thin layers such as oil spraying, sugar coating etc. The Viscosity range is generally defined for a range between 1–500 cP. Our solenoid-activated spray nozzles enable intermittent pulse spray at 0.02 seconds per shot with just 0.006 cc of liquid per shot. Our SETO-SD pneumatic solenoid spray nozzle sprays with a mean droplet diameter between 15–25 µm.
Medium viscosity coating
Medium viscosity coating typical includes confectionary coatings such as chocolate, syrups egg-yolk and honey. The viscosity range is generally defined as a range between 500 – 5,000 cP. Our pneumatic SETOV-C is capable of spraying high-viscosity liquid of up to 1,000 cP. (*3). It has an excellent durability; on-off operation of spray for over 5,000,000 times. This spray nozzle is ideal for achieving reduced splattering in coating applications.
High viscosity coating
High viscosity coating involves thicker products such as cake frostings and batter. The Viscosity range is generally defined for a range between ~5,000–100,000+ cP. For this application, we recommend our VEP-series. The VEP-series is a hydraulic spray nozzle without the need for compressed air. Due to its ceramic orifice, it is highly wear resistant and durable.
