SOx reduction

Desulfurization plants need to follow industrial requirements to clean their exhaust gas before releasing it into the environment. SOx reduction requires atomization with slurry limestone in fine droplets. The difficulty of the slurry texture for a nozzle shorten its life-time, scrubbing inside the nozzle. And in order to achieve smaller droplet size, more rotation is needed inside the nozzle to break the droplets. Which increase the impact of the slurry limestone against the nozzle, thus, scrubbing its inside.

Wet scrubbing

For wet scrubbing, we recommend spray nozzles made from siC and SiSiC materials in order to improve the longetivity of the spray nozzle.

Semi-dry scrubbing

For semi-dry scrubbing, we recommend spray nozzles with a smaller droplet size and a strong wear resistance to heat by using Alumina tip (AL99).

Dry scrubbing

The dry scrubbing process refers to the practice of injecting a dry alkaline mineral into a flue gas stream to reduce acid gas emissions.
