Fideltronik was established in 1986 and is the biggest Polish EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) provider. The main business of Fideltronik is offering full-scale production solutions for industries such as automotive, consumer electronics, aerospace and more from design to after-market. The problems the customer was facing
Fideltronik had been using humidification control for years as a means to prevent static electricity on their production site. However, a few years later Fideltronik was experiencing issues with their adiabatic humidification system due to constant clogging and dripping. This caused an unwanted decrease in productivity due to the long maintenance time. So in 2017, they started looking for a new solution.
The solution
After testing different adiabatic humidification systems, Fideltronik found that AKIMist® was the best performing. They were especially impressed with the non-wetting effect which was a problem with their current system. We tested different systems and yours was the best. They were also satisfied with the price compared to other systems.
System used for this application
AKIMist® Dry Fog Humidifier
AKIMist® is known for its non-wetting abilities due to it tiny droplet size aound 7.5 µm. This means that the droplets are so small that they will bounce back without bursting on any surface leaving no risk of leakage or condensation. This is a very convenient ability in a factory with expensive machinery and materials which cannot get exposed to water or condense.
The result
Since the installation of AKIMist® on their production line, Fideltronik has not experienced anymore issues with clogging and dripping. According to Jacek Przebinda, the Project Engineering Manager who was responsible for this project, the quality of AKIMist has remained high and stable since the installation in 2017. This resulted in an increased in productivity due to less maintenance time and reliable humidification control against ESD.
