Checklist: don’t forget the maintenance of your AKIMist®E before the holiday closing!

Maintenance tips for your Dry Fog humidifier AKIMist®”E” before closing during the holidays

During the winter and summer holidays, some factories close for few weeks, leaving all the equipment turned off. If you have installed our Dry Fog humidifier AKIMist®”E” (or any other humidification system that is connected to a water pipe), you need to make sure you don’t leave stagnated water that could get contaminated and risk legionella or other bacterial contamination issue.

So before your holiday shutdown, don’t forget to complete this maintenance checklist  to prevent any issue with your humidifier when you return.

Maintenance before the factory closes

How to clean the nozzle tip

As your system is already off, you can directly remove the nozzles from the AKIMist®”E” body. For a visual explanation of this maintenance process, please check the video below.
