Improve the steel making process with precision spraying
Descaling process
Descaling is the process of removing mineral deposits, such as calcium and magnesium, from surfaces or equipment where they have built up over time. It is often used in the steel industry, where oxide is removed from the steel to avoid surface damages. High pressure cleaning is an efficient way to descale surfaces. Our DSP nozzle is especially suitable for this.
Roll cooling
Roll cooling is an important part of the process in order to avoid overheating which can cause thermal expansion, deformation, and cracking. In addition, roll cooling reduces wear and extends the life of the rolls by minimizing thermal and mechanical fatigue. Ikeuchi offers several spray nozzle solutions for roll cooling. Our VVP spray nozzle has a flat spray pattern with a mountain-shaped spray distribution and it provides uniformity of spray distribution in multiple-nozzle arrangements.
Our Newest innovation for roll cooling is the self-cleaning nozzle header “Brasikan”. It can be used for annealing, pickling and rinsing.
