Gas cooling
Gas cooling can be beneficial in a number of industries such as the chemical and petrochemical industry, cement production, waste incinerators, power plants, iron and steel etc.
Cooling of gas can lead to the condensation of water vapor present in the exhaust gases. This condensation can help remove water-soluble pollutants, such as SO2 and VOCs from the gas stream. The condensed water can capture these pollutants, reducing their release into the atmosphere.

Gas cooling in small towers
Some of the common issues in gas cooling towers are clinker issues, corrosion, nozzles dripping (excess water),problems caused by dust adhesion to interior walls or around outlet of gas cooling tower etc. In order to prevent these issues, we have developed a special gas cooling nozzle; the GSIM II series. The GSIM II series is available in spray angles of 60º and 20º. This means that it can be installed in a smaller gas cooling tower than comparative products. This reduces the construction and maintenance costs.
Gas cooling with a variating flow-rate
Gas cooling with a varying flow rate is a complex process that requires careful design and control to ensure effective and efficient cooling. The SPB-series is a hollow cone spray nozzle generating a fine atomization with uniform spray distribution. This nozzle is suitable for gas cooling where the flow rate or gas temperature varies.
Flue-Gas Desulfurization
Flue-Gas Desulfurization (FGD) is a set of technologies used to remove sulfur dioxide (SO₂) from the exhaust flue gases of fossil-fuel power plants and from the emissions of other sulfur oxide emitting processes, such as waste incineration. For this process, we recommend our SPB-series. The SPB-series is a hollow cone spray nozzle generating a fine atomization with uniform spray distribution. It has a spray angle between 60 – 130°.
