A Wet Electrostatic Precipitator (WEP) is an air pollution control device used to remove particulate matter and aerosols from exhaust gases. It functions similarly to a dry electrostatic precipitator but incorporates water to improve its efficiency, particularly for capturing fine particles and mist. A common issue with WEP’s is that they tend to clog fast and thereby become less efficient. Ikeuchi has solved this issue by developing clog-resistant WEP spray nozzles.

AJP
The AJP series is a full cone spray pattern with a round impact area and uniform distribution. It has a unique design to produce fine atomization by liquid impinging inside chamber without a whirler. Due to this No-whirler design, it has a large free passage diameter which minimizes clogging. For spraying chemicals such as hydrochloric acid, PPS-injection molded AJP are available for excellent chemical and heat resistance.
AAP
The AAP series is a hollow cone spray nozzle with relatively fine atomization and stable spray pattern at both low and high pressure. Due to its No-whirler design it minimizes clogging which makes its ideal for WEP purposes.
YYP
The YYP series is a wide-angle flat spray nozzle which is ideal to use at low pressure. Compared to other flat spray nozzles with the same spray flow rate, the free passage diameter is large and clogging is less likely to occur. Compared to other flat spray nozzles, the atomization, spray pattern and distribution are rough, and the spray impact is low.
SR series
The SR-series is a low-speed rotating cleaning nozzle to use for cleaning containers and tanks. The low speed ensures a maximized contact time between the cleaning object and the spray liquid, which leads to a higher cleaning effect.
