Reduce the risk of printing defects with humidity control
Humidity control
With humidification control, a constant humidity level around 50-60% can be ensured all year round and reduce printing defects significantly. AKIMist® is known for its non-wetting ability and energy-efficiency. It uses up to 80% less energy than conventional humidification systems. In addition, AKIMist has a cooling effect which reduces the energy needed for air-conditioning by 20%. Due to the small size droplets, AKIMist can also suppress dust. This also decreases the risk of fire and explosions, maintaining a safe work environment for employees.
AKIMist can be used for spot humidification and be placed directly by the source of issue, like the ink unit and feeder delivery part. This reduces the price significantly as only a few units may be needed.
