Productronica
Productronica is in its own words “The world’s leading trade fair for Electronics Development and Production” and more than 1600 exhibitors showcases innovations across the value chain of the electronics industry.
Co-exhibition
This year, Ikeuchi and Medizza Water and Technology decided to combine efforts and co-exhibit at Productronica. The advantages of exhibiting together means that we can combine tehnical knowledge as well as language and cultural knowledge. Ikeuchi and Mendizza have been partners since the beginning of the 90’s when Ikeuchi first entered the European market, and have since then had a succesful cooperation. Since the Japanese devices were not applicable to the European market, Mendizza was able to provide the humidity controlling equipment and the RO purified water equipment, and still does so to this day. Mendizza is an Italian company, and mainly operates in the Italian market with its great portfolio of water technology equipment.
During the 4-day exhibition, we had many interesting conversations with professionals and students from the electronics industry. At our stand, we showcased our Dry Fog Humidification solution against ESD and dust. Mendizza also displayed their RO purified water equipment, which made the setup complete.
Realtime technologies
During the second day of Productronica, our partner and distributor for Slovakia and Czeck, Realtime technologies, suddenly turned up at our stand. It was a pleasant surprise and Realtime Technologies had brought a large part of their team with them. Ikeuchi Europe and Realtime Technologies met for the first time during Productronica 10 years ago and decided to setup a partnership. This made it a great reunion which we commemorated with a photo and a restaurant visit in the evening.
Productronica in numbers
Productronica 2025 had over 1,600 exhibitors from 52 countries and attracted more than 47,000 visitors from 98 countries. This was an increase from 2023 where there were 1,400 exhibitors and 42,000 visitors. Productronica is generally very internationally minded and around 58% of visitors are international, from outside of Germany. The top visiting countries are Italy, Austria, Switzerland, France and United Kingdom.
Tree sponsorship
This year, we sponsored a tree seedling to celebrate the 50 year anniversary of Productronica, and to support a more sustainable trade show. It will be planted in the northeast of Munich as part of a reforestation project, along with 2999 other seedlings of different types of species. We hope to see it turn into a forrest when we go visit Productronica in the future.
