The problems the customer was facing
At a certain food processing plant, waste liquid was transported away in tankers, and the tanks of the vehicles returning after treatment were cleaned manually. This task took around one hour for small tankers and two to three hours for large ones. A particular challenge was that the waste liquid would not drain smoothly unless the sludge-like residue clinging to the bottom of the tank was loosened during cleaning.

The JA3-D180 is a powerful 3D rotational solid stream jet which cleans the inside of tanks. This nozzle is designed to efficiently clean and discharge waste liquid by loosening it from the tank floor using a powerful, straight water jet.
The solution
After consulting with the engineers at Ikeuchi Japan, they selected the ‘JA3-D180’ three-dimensional rotating tank cleaning nozzle, which is capable of thoroughly covering and cleaning the lower half of the tank lorry. This nozzle is designed to efficiently clean and discharge waste liquid adhering to the tank floor by loosening it with a powerful, straight water jet.
