More than 70 years of experience

Ikeuchi is the leading nozzle manufacturer in Japan since its foundation in 1954.

We offer warranty on spray
patterns and spray angle

We are the only spray nozzle manufacturer on the market which offers warranty on spray patterns and spray angles.

Industrial spray nozzles

Ikeuchi designs and manufactures industrial spray nozzles for cleaning, cooling, coating, humidification, dust suppression, gas cooling and many other industrial applications. Choose from hydraulic, pneumatic and specialized nozzles with different spray patterns, flow rates, droplet sizes and materials.

Hydraulic spray nozzles
Pneumatic spray nozzles

The various types of industrial spray nozzles

Hydraulic spray nozzles can be divided into spray patterns such as flat fan, hollow cone, full cone and solid stream. Whereas we divide pneumatic spray nozzle into 3 different types of air-liquid mixing systems. Read our complete guide on different types of spray nozzles:

Selecting the correct industrial spray nozzle

There are 5 things which are important to consider when selecting an industrial spray nozzle: Spray angle, Spray distribution, Spray capacity, Spray nozzle material and Spray pattern. Read our guide on how to select the correct spray nozzles for your application:

Try our spray nozzle finder

Filter on spray angle, flow rate, spray pattern, material, connection size and more to find the most suitable spray nozzle for your application.

Nozzle materials

Spray nozzles are manufactured in many types of materials, from stainless steel to plastic. Ikeuchi is known for its ceramic material spray nozzles which have a higher wear resistance and tolerance. Read more about the different types of nozzle materials here:

Droplet size matters

The droplet size that a spray nozzle can produce is of immense importance. With a spray droplet classification ranging from 7.5 to over 1.000 micron, there is a world of difference. We can advise you on which droplet size to pursue for your specific application, or which nozzle to choose to avoid coarse droplets. Read more about droplet sizes below:

Spray nozzle flow rate

Flow rate is one of the most important factors when selecting a nozzle because it determines how much water, chemical, coating, or other liquid is applied to the target. Read more about the connection between pressure and flow rate below:

Thread types

Nozzle thread coding can seem complex to understand during the first encounter. This is because there are different regional standards around the world. Europe and Japan commonly use BSP-based threads, while North America commonly uses NPT. Also, some threads are straight/parallel (G/BSPP), while others taper toward the end (R/Rc/BSPT and NPT). Read our guide below on thread sizes:

Spray nozzle problems

There are several common  nozzle problems that can reduce spray performance, increase water or chemical consumption, and cause production defects. For an Ikeuchi blog, I would organize them around symptoms users can actually recognize.

Diagnose nozzle issues

Damaged nozzles makes the overall performance decrease significantly and can lead to an uneven spraying pattern, increased water use, increased chemical use and pressure loss. Read more about how to detect spray nozzle issues:

Clogged spray nozzles

Clogged nozzles can be caused by several factors such as a a too narrow free passage diameter, unpurified water or lack of maintenance. If you frequently experience clogged spray nozzles, you may want to look into a more clogging-free solution.

Spray nozzle wear

A worn-out nozzle is a nozzle whose internal passages or spray orifice have gradually changed due to erosion, abrasion, corrosion, or prolonged use. Because nozzle wear often happens slowly, it can be difficult to notice until it begins affecting the production process. If you experience that you need to replace your nozzles frequently, you may want to look into more wear resistant spray nozzles.

Ceramic nozzles

Ceramic nozzles are known for their high wear resistance, excellent chemical resistance and enhanced toughness compared to steel nozzles. This makes them ideal for applications which involve frequent use, requires high consistency or involves chemicals. Our ceramic nozzles are frequently used for high pressure cleaning applications such as car wash, CIP and PCB cleaning as well as  greenhouse humidification, dust suppression and more.

Japanese quality and reliability is guaranteed

Guarantee of spray angle

We are the only nozzle manufacturer who offers a guarantee on our spray angle tolerance and spray capacity tolerance. All of our products are designed and manufactured in Japan, ensuring the highest quality and reliability. Japanese companies have some of the highest quality standards in the world and all our products go through a thorough quality check before they are shipped. This allows us to safely guarantee our customers that the product they ordered lives up to its specifications and requirements.  You have not only our word, but also our guarantee.

Benefits of using Ikeuchi spray nozzles

Cost efficient

01High wear resistance

Ikeuchi nozzles are known for their high wear resistance. For the highest wear resistance you should try our ceramic spray nozzles.

02Water conservation

A high quality nozzle will maintain its spray pattern and spray distribution for longer, which will lead to less water waste.

03Less downtime

Due to less frequent clogging issues or the need to replace spray nozzles, our nozzles lead to less downtime in your production.

Guaranteed performance
