Humidification is a fundamental part of running a successful hatchery. Humidification is important  because humidity affects the loss of water from the egg. The developing embryo needs the correct balance of moisture inside the egg to prevent it from becoming dry and stocking to the ckick. It also makes the hatching process easier as humidity keeps the membranes inside the egg moist and flexible. This way, the chick can break out of the egg more easily.
