What is AKIMist®?
AKIMist® is a unique Japanese invention which offers full control of the humidity level in a greenhouse facility. It is a proven technology which has been implemented in several greenhouses from tomato and strawberry growers to flowers and cannabis. AKIMist sprays a “dry fog” which is characterized by its tiny sized droplets around 7.5 µm. The droplets are so small that they will not leave any condensation on the plants.

How does AKIMist® work?
The AKIMist® technology is built around an atomizing unit which combines water, compressed air and ultrasonic waves. Two separate orifices spray out atomized droplets which collide in the center. Simultaneously they generate ultrasonic waves to further atomize the droplets and homogenize their size into less than 10 µm – dry fog.
Applications
AKIMist® is used by growers across the world from mushrooms to cannabis. For disinfection purposes we recommend our titanium steel version. AKIMist is also available in a portable version, which is useful for growers using grow containers or smaller growing rooms, such as for tissue culture.

Easy installation
Depending on the type of application and use, the AKIMist Dry Fog Humidifier can be offered with hanging down mounting kits and wall mounting kit. These accessories makes it easy to fit AKIMist into any factory layout. For smaller factories, AKIMist is also available in a portable version. No piping work needed.

Energy and cost
AKIMist is extremely energy-efficient and has an 80% lower energy cost-ratio than conventional humidification systems.
AKIMist cools around 2°C while controlling the humidity level. This is convenient during summer-time where extra cooling equipment is often needed.
AKIMist can be used for spot humidification and be placed directly by the source of issue. This reduces the price significantly as only a few units may be needed.
Installation and maintenance
AKIMist requires very little maintenance compared to other humidification equipment. In addition, it is very easy to maintain as it is installed within the factory and hanging from the ceiling or wall.
AKIMist is easy to install and can be fitted into any current HVAC design. AKIMist can be installed with a wall or ceiling fitting or
even as a portable option.
AKIMist is very compact. Like the size of a 5 inch smartphone. This makes it easy to fit into tight factory spaces.
