IBC cleaning
The cleaning process of Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC) is essential in order to being able to recycle totes safely. Contaminants and residue must be completely removed in order to prevent cross-contamination in industries like food, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals. This process can be done either manually or via automated, high-pressure spray systems.
IBC cleaning regulations
IBC cleaning face very strict regulations and must be cleaned to a level that meets RCRA’s standards for hazardous waste disposal. In addition, employees must have received adequate training for handling hazardous substances and it must take place in a well ventilated area. The shower ball tank cleaner has 360 degree spray coverage, ensuring a thorough cleaning of the IBC unit. For higher chemical resistance, it is also available in PTFE material.
3D rotational cleaning
In the cases where the containers contain a more sticky material, we advise to implement a more powerful solution. Our JA3-3D-series can do the job with either two or four nozzles equipped.
