Paper Trimming nozzles are hydraulic spray nozzles with a high jet impact.  Their design produces a compact, solid stream of liquid to spray. Moreover, their design is simple and straightforward. However, these nozzles are effective, precise in cutting, and durable. They are very useful when a high impact cleaning is needed, or in trimming/ cutting applications, especially in the paper and pulp industry.

Why select our paper trimming nozzles?

We design our Paper Trimming nozzles to be the most efficient in the paper industry. Their extra fine and clear non-turbulent solid stream have a high impact cutting force.  Manufacturing them from durable and resistant materials, makes them the most suitable for these type of applications. Although the body of the nozzle is made from stainless steel, the orifices are either from:

  • alumina, or
  • tungsten carbide.

Incorporating an alumina orifice increases provides you with various benefits:

  • has a hardness of 9 on the Mohs scale, which is closer to that of a diamond
  • provides a higher wear-resistance
  • the material is durable under high pressure, and the cutting is sharp for a longer period
  • increases the life-span of the nozzle
  • increases your ROI.

Furthermore, regarding the nozzles equipped with a tungsten carbide orifice, they provide you with the following benefits:

  • a higher durability
  • a higher temperature resistance (melting point)
  • a great overall wear-resistance

Lastly, our nozzles have a easy level of maintenance. This is possible as nozzle body and the strainers are detachable and exchangeable.

At IKEUCHI, we provide the fundamentals to select the optimal nozzle for your application based on their characteristics. When selecting the nozzle, we advise you based on your required spray angle, spray capacity, optimum spray pattern, and spray distribution.
